Marc Pinto – Japanese & Tebori Tattoo Artist, Primitive Tattoo Perth

Marc Pinto is the founder of Primitive Tattoo, tattooing in Perth since 1997. He is one of the few artists in Australia working in traditional Japanese irezumi and tebori hand tattooing, alongside large-scale machine work.

Marc specialises in back pieces, body suits, full and half sleeves and leg sleeves, featuring dragons, koi, tigers, hannya masks, phoenix, samurai and Shoki, plus Borneo and Polynesian tribal work. Many of his clients are now second-generation, and his work has been featured internationally.
